I'm Still Here

I haven't written in so long. I think because I like talking to myself better - I do that when I walk. I have the feeling no one is reading.

But, I'm still here, still doing my thing at the lake most days. For Thanksgiving, I tried on a pair of pants I bought months ago for a job interview and I had to sit the whole time sucking my stomach in so my pants wouldn't break. I must have had a breathy voice! Didn't get the job.
But at Thanksgiving, I could wear the pants!! After I ate there were a little snug, but I think many people's pants fit that way on Thanksgiving.
Me (right) in my wearable pants, Thanksgiving

So things are working. My routine hasn't changed all that much. I still do between 2-3 miles. Some days I am in a hurry to do an errand, or I'll have a custom knit project that needs my attention. I'm concentrating on running more than walking, and it's slow but steady progress.

I'll give an update on the body stats soon. Maybe back to where I was - darn holidays ! Darn yummy cookies I have for breakfast, snack, snack and dessert. And, the kids are home from school, so no intensive workouts. I have us walk the dog for a mile, and the other day we did a 2 mile hike at Circle B Bar Reserve in Winter Haven, FL. What a nice place! Saw 17 gators!
